It was commissioned by Noosa Council as a creative industries initiative, using Regional Arts Development Funding from the Queensland Government and Noosa Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

- ABN
- Website/Online Portfolio
- Noosa LGA Studio or Home Address (for application purposes only)
- 5 Hi-Res photos (including artist photo and photographer credits)
- Video content (optional but highly recommended; including videographer credits)
- 50 word bio
- 200 word bio CV (for application purposes only)
- Plus respond to the multiple choice question “How do you like to work?”

Yes, indeed! Locate is a Noosa Council Arts & Culture initiative. We’re also proudly supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund — a partnership between the Queensland Government and Noosa Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland. We’re part of something big. And we want you in on it.
We’re here to spark connections, not referee disputes. Once you and a creative or customer start working together, it’s all in your hands—communications, contracts, payments, and all the nitty-gritty details. That means we can’t intervene, mediate, or play go-between.
Here’s the smart move: always get a contract in place. Clear terms = no surprises. If things still go off track, consider bringing in a mediator or reaching out to the QLD Office of Fair Trading.
All creatives on Locate run their own show—independently of Council—so any concerns should go directly to them. If you need to take it further, put your complaint in writing and refer to your contract.
In rare cases where things go seriously south, let us know. If mediation is involved, send us the details—we’ll review whether the creative’s profile should stay on Locate. Quality matters, and we’re here to keep the bar high.
